A Sports Chiropractor’s goal is to provide care in the conservative management, rehabilitation and performance optimisation of the neuromusculoskeletal system for individuals of all ages. Chiropractors are also strongly driven to participate in a multi-disciplinary environment to help provide the best care for each person.
Chiropractic achieves this focus through the application of a multimodal treatment approach that includes one or more of the following: manipulation, mobilisation, soft tissue therapies, electrotherapy, rehabilitation and other movement/exercise therapies, nutritional advice, strapping and bracing and other related approaches. These approaches are applied to injury management in the form of acute, subacute and chronic injury as well as in the prevention of injury and the optimisation of performance through the pursuit of the highest efficiency in neuromusculoskeletal functioning.

Our chiropractor Aaron Hennessy
Aaron emphasises high value, not high volume care and treats every person as an individual, not as a number.
He has several years clinical experience and post-graduate qualifications in sports medicine, football medicine, dry needling and Pilates and uses innovative and contemporary rehabilitation strategies to get people back on track, and keep them there as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Along with injury management Aaron is keenly interested in Paediatric neurodevelopment and has extensive experience within this area.
Aaron is unique in his practice, as one of the only dual qualified clinicians in Australia, he has both Masters degrees in Chiropractic (Macquarie University) and Occupational Therapy (Sydney University).
This dual qualification has provided him the opportunity to be part of continuum of care from acute injury, chronic issue and return to function, be that work, sport or school or play.
